Why this site?

So it happened:

• I considered covering my personal database with a HTML blanket. Internet was no topic then.

• Internet becomes available. I received one megabyte free for a Personal Homepage at CompuServe.

• If one uses HTML anyway, then a homesite emerges spontaneously, just by setting one lousy link! Could you resist? Leave the megabyte unexplored?

• So I stuck the link on the globe.

The above is theory. In reality, for several reasons the thing must be devided and monitored. You won't just pin your complete personal data on the blackboard of the world.
